Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 電子工程系研究所 === 104 === With the development of high-frequency systems, electronic devices become more and more complex and the performance requirements are also increasing.The development of communication systems, radar and electronic equipment must satisfy the goals of small size, light weight, low cost, high integration and high performance.Substrate integrated waveguide(SIW) is a structure having high Q, low loss and low cost characteristics. Not only it can be widely used in microwave and millimeter-wave circuits, but also it can be manufactured by PBC or LTCC Technologies.Compared with conventional waveguide structures,SIW is cheaper and easier to mass produce. In this thesis, an X-band 4×8microstripline-fed SIWslot array antenna isdesigned and built. Unlike conventional SIW, the substrate is replaced by air to avoid dielectric loss. The top and bottom metal planes of the SIW are formed by two FR-4 substrates to reduce cost. The vias of the SIW are implemented by bolts and nuts. The 4×8 array is formed by four 1×8 slot antenna arrays with parallel feed network which is implemented by microstrip T-junctions and quarter-wave transformers.
