Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 電子工程系研究所 === 104 === In this thesis, the study of frequency-reconfigurable metal case antenna for LTE band application is presented. The material of prototype antenna is a copper sheet of dimensions 13.5 mm x 70 mm x 0.6 mm and the volume of the metal case structure is 115 mm x 70 mm x 0.6 mm which is suitable for housing the mobile phone. The printed circuit board consisted of FR4 substrate and has dimensions of 130 mm x 70 mm x 0.8 mm. The metal case antenna has six working modes which can be excited by changing two of the ground point at the metal radiator position and by changing T-type matching circuit to achieve the goal of adjustable antenna resonant frequency. From the measured results, the tunable frequency ranges were found to be from 690 MHz to 980 MHz, 1690 MHz to 2300 MHz, and 2420 MHz to 3400 MHz. The peak gain was determined to be 0.5 dBi with 30% realizable radiation efficiency for the frequencies ranging from 690 MHz to 980 MHz, 4.14 dBi with 50% realizable radiation efficiency from 1690 MHz to 2300 MHz and 3 dBi with 45% realizable radiation efficiency from 2420 MHz to 3400 MHz.
