Many feminist artists have been attempting to reconstruct or deconstruct the body codes, continuously undermining the vision we take for granted and the boundaries of desire or taboo, and challenging the myth about female bodies in mainstream culture. The thesis will re-explore postmodern feminist literature on body studies, such as the theory of abject, gender parody and maternal space (chora). The theories will be used to not only analyze feminine art works but also guide my personal art project. In the context of my personal project, I create the narrative images of real-time body responses through scenario creation, spontaneous movement, selfie, etc. In order to develop body self-awareness and explore unconscious memories, I focus on the complicated mechanism of desire and fear of women who reject her selves, and the concept about cleanness or dirtiness constructed by the civilized body. I attempt to fully capture the self-perception through subjective experience, environment creation, and spontaneous movement. In addition, I manage to transform the abject codes to increase possibilities of feminine writing and perform more diverse self-interpretation of feminine subjective. 林宏璋 2016 學位論文 ; thesis 54 zh-TW
