It’s ripe for the car technology. Human are now pursuing is not only a “purely moving vehicle”. Each automobile manufacturer develops a lot of safety system to assist human in driving a car. Under the condition of limited energy resource, electric vehicle begin to rise, and make vehicle toward intelligent as their goal, such as Audi developed an A7 Concept which is an unmanned vehicle, Volvo also announced a partnership with Microsoft to develop autonomous vehicles. This thesis focuses on the development of the automatic guided system. Use GPS receiver device and electronic compass, reading the output information “NMEA Code” of the GPS receiver device, combined the Google Direction as the navigation system to calculate and plan the route to the destination. Retrieve the XML file data from the Google Direction sending back, put the XML data to the automatic guided system and determine the direction the vehicle will drive to. And the turning signal is sent to the algorithm and output a data to control the steering motor.
