Summary:碩士 === 台南應用科技大學 === 音樂系碩士班 === 104 === Vivaldi was an important Baroque composer because of his unique style and large number of concerto. The first or the final movement of Vivaldi’s concerto tended to be in ritornello form, in which the solo instrument seems to communicate with the orchestra, and in which the audience can hear the skillful performances of the solo instrument as well. Vivaldi composed more than 450 concerto during his whole life and thus considered the father of the concerto. He had great influence on his contemporary composers and also many composers later. This study aims to investigate Vivaldi’s Recorder Concerto in c minor, RV441. First, the motivation, purpose and method of the study are explained. Then, the life of Vivaldi, his style, and the development of the concerto are described. Moreover, the analysis and interpretation of Vivaldi’s Recorder Concerto in c minor, RV441, are discussed. Finally, a conclusion sums up the study. Vivaldi’s Recorder Concerto in c minor, RV441, is a classic work in the recorder literature. Many recorder players have improved their skills by playing this concerto. Hopefully, this study provides some help for those who wish to play this piece in the future.
