As camping activity is not reduced, it indeed makes us to ponder how can keep joy of camping without leaving a burden. Expect to understand campers’ general situation and relevance of perception and behavior through studying in its’ environmental perception and behavior. Find out the campers’ environmental perception positive cycle associated with its’ environmental behavior and can be further reinforced in order to make ecological environment sustainable. The purposes of this study were: 1. Analyze the type of Jianshih township, Hsinchu County camping area and the campers’ characteristics. 2. Understand the current situation of campers’ environmental perception and the discrepancy. 3. Understand the current situation of campers’ environmental behavior and the discrepancy. 4. Discuss the relevant circumstance between campers’ environmental perception and their environmental behavior. This study conducted a survey of “The relationships between Campers’ environmental perception and environmental behavior of camping site questionaire” by questionnaire method. The participants were the adult who camped in Jianshih Township, Hsinchu County and returned 330 valid questionnaires. The data analysis and comparison were conducted by SPPS 18 descriptive statistics, Independent-Sample T Test, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson Product-Moment Correlation Coefficient. According to the results of data analysis, the conclusions were as following: 1. The adult of camping family who camped in Jianshih township, Hsinchu County were among aged 31 to 45 years with high level education. The participants most dwelled in the northern region and the camping experiences were mostly less than 20 times. They visited the camp due to friends’ invitation or recommendation, and the primary motivation of camping was to promote the family relationship. 2. The campers were fond of nature and could duly handle the waste in camping activity. 3. In environmental perception, there were significant differences in campers’ camping frequency. 4. On the environmental behavior, there were significant difference in campers’ education level and camping frequency. 5. Campers’ environmental perception and environmental behavior presented a moderate positive correlation. More friendly camping behavior to environment conducted more susceptivity of environmental perception. More susceptive to ecological environment led more superior environmental behavior. Expect to offer reference for planners who engaged in camping activity and camping site and also provide private industry, government agencies the deliberation of the relevant provisions set through this study.
