Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立大學 === 音樂學系 === 104 ===   Don Quixote, one of the Spanish literature works, was written in the beginning of 17th century by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra with the purpose of eliminating the Chivalric Romance. With sarcastic techniques turning plots into a humorous one, he created a timeless literature work. Until 20th century, with the advances of film industry, movies featured Adventures of Don Quixote hired many famous composers to create the music accompanied with the movie. However, this collaboration turned out to bring composers into an unexpected conflict.   This thesis aims to investigate the Don Quichotte from Jacques François Antoine Ibert. The music was the one utilized by company at that time as the movie soundtrack accompany music. By extending the music to both the backgrounds of film creation and literature, this thesis explore the created songs in the movies profoundly, and appreciate the wonderlands of the music in order to elevate the interpretation of performance.
