This Research had called on volunteers from psychodrama training groups to participate in four training workshops of psychodrama double, in which a protagonist, a double and an auxiliary ego played the main role, with side help from the director. The resulting verbal and image recordings of the interactive process between the protagonists and the doubles were taken, and the discourse was then literally transcribed verb by verb as text and contents as the basis for analysis. In this study, an interpretation of phenomenological research is adopted, by using the concept of “situatedness” of Li Wei-lun (2004), and his proposal of the approaches to conversation analysis. Having gone through the text with a view to looking into the experience as revealed in the phenomena of interaction between the protagonist and the double, the themes of their various interactions are formed accordingly. It has been founded that there are as many as twenty-two alternative themes of interaction between them, with fifteenth of which that may be taken as general, while the remaining seven specific, and they together explain the whole of their interactive processes. To conclude, for comparison and contrast, this study has also looked at perspectives of other theories about the experience of the protagonist and the double in psychodrama and an attempt at synthesis is made with suggestions for consultation, further research and reference.
