Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立大學 === 資訊科學系碩士在職專班 === 104 === In this study, we use optical character recognition technology to implement markless augmented reality system, and use in electronic English dictionary: Using augmented reality technology, we can replace the text translated by original electronic English dictionary with three-dimensional image. The three-dimensional images can not only have more intuitive and exactly expression of the word, but also avoid misunderstandings caused from different meanings with the same word. By using optical character recognition to replace the tag (for example: QRcode), better appearance and this system can provide readability of those augmented reality products (such as: story books, navigation, etc.). Beside, user doesn’t need to download different applications for different tags. Keywords:markless、augmented reality、optical character recognition
