Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立大學 === 運動健康科學系碩士班 === 104 === Moving in Daibolo and Stick -Narrative Inquiry in The Genetic Knowledge throughDiabolo Performance Abstract The motive of this study is to discuss the effectiveness for training primary school students on diabolo via the school community. Based on the self-learning methodology and 2 way communication between the student and coach, this has allowed the student to breakthrough their skills and earned success while competing with other schools. The students are also exposed to special techniques and history of the diabolo that contributes to their success.By using the described methodology, it allows both the student and the coach to form a meaningful and interactive experience. The students are taught in a way where both parties will have their own melody and rhythm caused by the diabolo and the stick. This not only encourage self critical thinking from the students but also creates a synchronized relationship between the coach and the student in developing skills and knowledge for the student. Based on the experience and analysis of the above study, the learning process of the student is divided in to two main parts; technical and non-technical. For the technical part, each student will work hand in hand with the coach to form a unique style and melody, then slowly amending and selecting the most suitable combination for the student. As for the non-technical part, it is divided in to three main points that are: length of the string used, transition of the music and lastly transition of the attitude of the student. The coach can then identify the learning motive of the student and design a suitable course to match their needs in order to increase the effectiveness of the course.
