After World War II, Japan surrendered and left Taiwan. The Chinese Civil War was in full swing. The society was in turmoil, citizens were leading simple , austere lives. In Yuanli Township, Miaoli County, Mrs. Lin went on a psychic communication with her dead husband through mediums. From the mediums allowed god and goddess spirits entered their bodies, such as the Queen Mother of the West, Wangmu Niangniang, Golden Mother Goddess, and Yau-Chi-Gin-Mu Goddess. Therefore, having Ci-Hui-Tang Temple and fifty-one godchildren, Tsing Yi clothings, scripture and carried forward from Chung-Li Hall Branch to Chung-Li Ci-Hui-Tang Temple till Ci-Hui-Tang Temple of Foundation, Chung-Li. The first Ci-Hui-Tang Temple division hall branch located in Chung-Li by my father, Ching Fu Chen and the second hall branch in Tainan. The third branch in Taitung and fourth in Taipei. With Queen Mother of the West’s great power, Fuxing, Fengyuan, Kaohsiung, Tsushan, Changhua, Chiayi, Pingtung, Songshan...etc, places started to set new hall branches and more than a thousand hall branches are built. It had been a new religious movement after World War II. In this thesis, there are five chapters. The first chapter is the study of motivation and method. The second chapter is the reference review about the development of Chung-Li Ci-Hui-Tang Temple and Ci-Hui-Tang Temple Head Hall. The third chapter is about the present Ci-Hui-Tang Temple of Foundation Chung-Li City. The fourth chapter is about the temple management and consumption of society. The last chapter is about vision and conclusion.
