Recently, the government invests lots money on new immigrant education. As a result, the gap between the native and new immigrant children is getting smaller. The purpose of this research is to explore the family education and attitude for children with high school achievement between native and new immigrant children. Case study is adopted and six interviews are conducted for grades students, including three native and three new immigrant children. Grounded theory is used to do cross case and within case analysis. The findings suggest that: 1.The belief of parents’ education vary with the children’ academic achievement. 2.Principles are followed by parents and the interactions between each are good, leisure activities are arranged as well. 3.The power of education affairs is handled by parents, rewards and punishments are cross used. 4.The learning attitude is good for those with high academic achievement and knows how to take advantage of the surrounding resources. According to cross case analysis, the findings suggest that the family education is similar between native and new immigrant families. As a result, the high academic achievement is not rest on the nationality; rather, it depends on parents’ education and attitudes. In other words, it reflects the importance of family education.
