Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 資訊管理系 === 104 === Ageing of Taiwanese society leads to increasing importance of healthcare. In the era of 4G high-speed transmission and the ubiquity of smart devices, we believe that mobile network platforms are going to play a critical role in supplying healthcare services. Services (registration, care message and inspection information… etc.) provided through such network by the healthcare industry are expected to raise contents and improve quality. Nonetheless, the sustainability requires further investigation. This research focuses on understanding the factors that could affect users’ inclination to continually using a service. Using SEM model, three hypotheses are supported at p < 0.01 level thereby passing the overall model fitness evaluation. We focus on five aspects: network effects, brand image, health belief model, behavioural intention and internet privacy. Data collection were conducted through web questionnaires; we analysed 302 valid questionnaires with statistics software (SPSS and AMOS ver 23.0). Through our study, we obtain the following conclusions. First, network effects, brand image and behavioural intention have positive and significant impact on continual usage of a platform. Secondly, health belief model have no significant influence. It may be resulted from the lack of individual belief in terms of medical treatment in Taiwanese society. Lastly, concerns on privacy issues have negative but not major effect. The public pays more attention to privacy and safety, particularly in the information age, thereby causing negativity. The insignificance of such effect is expected as users’s would weigh the benefit of services, which rely more and more on information gathering, against potential privacy related issues. Through this study, we gain insights into the factors influencing the intention of the public on continual usage of a healthcare platform. It is also understood that verification clinic services are most frequently used. With such findings, we provide the directions for future extension and amendments to such services.
