In order to measure the pet owners personality traits, pet attachment, happiness and loneliness, the questionnaire was divided into five parts and a total of 713 participants completed the questionnaire online. Results suggest that dog owner are higher on Extraversion and Openness. Also, for dog owners, higher attachment will lead to a higher level of happiness.
