Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 視覺傳達設計系 === 104 === Packing can protect products and add extra value to products, the sustainability of packing boxes will be enhanced; the large amount of the waste caused by disposable products will be reduced; the aesthetic value of products will increase. Therefore, cost reduction and environmental protection will be an important topic in future packing design. The manufacturing, consumption and sustainability of products are closely related. Originally, the plan of the life cycle of products would be finished if the product packing was designed. Such topics as the waste and exhaustion of resources, the recycling of waste and the climate change have significant influence on the packing and design procedure of products; therefore, it is necessary to develop the thinking of design from the perspective of a designer, so as to avoid another burden on the environment in the production after the design. In Taiwan today, there is an increasing number of natural cleanser brands which have attached importance to environmental protection. If products are naturally environmentally friendly but the packing is excessively designed, it will cause a heavy burden on the environment. Most of packing boxes are made of paper, yet paper is made from wood. After products are consumed, their packing boxes would be directly recycled. Relatively, the natural forests and green land on the earth have been gradually turned into desert because of excessive lumbering, and severe impact has been imposed on the environment and nature. Aside from the reduction of packing materials, packing structure can be improved to make packing boxes protective for products and sustainable and thus prolong the life cycle of packing boxes. With the natural cleansers made from soapberry as the subjects, this study comprises three phrases. First, relevant literary materials are summarized and discussed, and case study is taken as a reference basis for the experiment. The packing structure in the experiment is used as the packing sample of the questionnaire in the second phrase and is improved according to the suggestions from experts in the interview, so as to facilitate the conceptual development in the follow-up achievements. Here are the purposes of this study: (1) to discuss the reusability of the packing boxes of natural cleansers and analyze relevant cases; (2) to undertake questionnaire survey and discuss the basis for the development of the packing structure according to experts’ suggestions; (3) to create the packing structure that can be sustainably applied to the natural cleansers made from soapberry; (4) to discuss the possibility that sustainable packing structure can be applied to the packing design of the natural cleansers made from soapberry.
