The subjects are 26 sixth-grade students in one elementary school in Taoyuan City. There are 16 classes in 8 weeks, which the subjects will take two classes a week, according to the curriculum design. The author infuses online video clips into character education classes by evaluating students’ personality traits and analyzes course recordings, reflection journals, class observation and subjects’ feedback after the curriculum, discussing the feasibility and effects of infusing online video clips into character education of senior students in elementary school. The conclusions are as follows: 1. Based on online video clips, infusing observational learning, dialogues, exercises, group discussions extended from positive feedback, oral presentation, games and worksheets into character education of senior students in elementary school is a feasible method. 2. The effects of infusing online video clips into character education. I. The performance on curriculum design, instructional efficiency and teacher-student interaction is relatively positive, yet there is still room for improvement on subjects’ feedback. II. Subjects show passion for activities of character education based on the core value, care, and there is higher acceptance on online video clips, role playing, group discussions, games and exercises. III. Subjects have made improvements on affection and caring behavior on themselves, families, classmates and strangers. IV. Parents and subject teachers approve the curriculum design of character education. 3. With stage-by-stage adjustment and modification, infusing online video clips into character education is proved to be a flexible and strategic teaching method. 4. After character education, researcher has made improvements on teaching beliefs, curriculum design, instructional capabilities, communication, observation and reflection.
