Summary:碩士 === 元智大學 === 經營管理碩士班(領導學程) === 104 === Nowadays, many companies make effort on increasing employees’ organizational citizenship behavior, which means that people commit with an organization and goes beyond the basic requirements of their job, such as helping behavior, sportsmanship, organizational loyalty, organizational compliance, individual initiative, civic virtue and self-development (P. M. Podsakoff et al., 2000). Though OCB (Organizational Citizenship Behavior) seems a good thing to companies, there still other precondition can turn it. The past research suggested that people may feel happy when they are givers, and helping behavior will also increase the happiness (Snyder & Lopez, 2002) and also support people to help more (Isen et al., 1978). Furthermore, when the quality of friendship is higher, there will be more helping behaviors (Clark & Mills, 1993). However, other research suggested that people will have less helping behavior when they are under stress(Darley & Batson, 1973). Therefore, what it will be if people helping others under stress? This research suggests that when people helping others under stress, it will cause a bad emotion and their emotion also depends on the friendship between givers and takers. In the end, we found that givers’ emotion will positively related with relationship between givers and takers. And also, people get negative emotion when they help others under stress.
