碩士 === 真理大學 === 財務與精算學系碩士班 === 105 === The county level mortality rate is one of the important indicators of the government's social policy. The population record source can be divided into registration and census data. The records of registration cannot reflect the resident real mortality rate. We use Kinmen county as an example, the household population grows from 53,832 to 97,364 in 2000 to 2010, but the census population increased just from 56,275 to 57,221, which may be affected by social policies from Kinmen local government. Hence, we will explore the resident mortality and the difference between registration and usual residential population by using frequent diseases of outpatient in Taiwan National Health Insurance Database. In this study, the estimated value of the resident population is fitted well, if we used ICD9 codes 460 ~ 466 and 487 as the criteria for judgment. We also find that the usual residential mortality rate is less than registration population in the metropolis and there are have the opposite results in non-urbanized areas.
