Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 企業管理系研究所 === 106 === With the flourishing development and continuous investment of TSMC, the leader of Taiwan semi-conductor OEM company who plays one of the sustaining pole for Taiwan economy, brings up persistant growth of supply chain and whole industry. The cost of R&D and equipments of advanced process multiplies under high technical competition of 3 to 5 nano-meter, one step of inaccurate strategic decision may lead backwards of technology, which causes loss of purchase orders and benefits, this is a victious circle. Cost reduction and risk management culture are inevitable for this industry to strive for orders and to distribute expenses. This research is to investigate the key factors of how semi-conductor fundries select qualified suppliers, under Analytical Hierarchy Process. The research method is through document examination and expert interview survey, which constructs 5 main scales and 24 principles of suppliers’ selection. The 5 main scales include: product precision, standard operation procedures, price competitiveness on bargaining, process improvement and cost control/ reduction. With the outcome of this research, we can discriminate the weight of 5 scales and the key factors to affect supplier selection of TSMC, which can be a reference for companies who seek for cooperation opportunities with semi-conductor industry.
