碩士 === 中華大學 === 資訊工程學系 === 105 === In the past, when the company's internal knowledge is insufficient, employees often use Google to search for external knowledge to get the knowledge needed to solve their problem. However, Google's search results often contain a lot of web information; employees must spend considerable effort to browse, filter, organize, in order to get the required knowledge. Moreover, after the employees have carefully organized the external knowledge, there is no mechanism can be used to retain the external knowledge in the company for re-use. When other employees encounter the same problem, they must repeat the same efforts to get the same knowledge. Such kind of knowledge application is rather inefficient. To cope with this problem, an External Knowledge Intellectualization System (EKIS) is developed in this study. EKIS provides a user-friendly interface that allows employees to keep the external knowledge organized from Google search and share them with other employees. In this way, the external knowledge that has been organized by employees can be re-used by other employees, eliminating the need for a lot of work spent on retrieving, browsing, filtering and organizing information. Through this system, the intellectual assets of the company can be expanded from internal knowledge to external knowledge. And thus the efficiency of knowledge application can be improved.
