Digital reading has become an important trend of learning. However, related studies on cloud library are rare in Taiwan. Therefore, this study aims at understanding the actual usage situation of elementary school students and the factors that affect the continuous usage intention in the cloud library. According to the related literature, the research model is developed based on A Post-Acceptance Model of IS Continuance and Decomposed Theory of Planned Behavior. By using user experience, user satisfaction, subjective norms, Internet self-efficacy, resource facilitating condition and perceived enjoyment as independent variables, continuous usage intention as dependent variable to explore the continuous usage intention of elementary school students in the cloud library. The results of this study can be provided to educational-related units, schools and elementary school teachers to promote the new thinking of digital reading, and for system vendors to improve the cloud library system. This study took the “Education Department New Taipei City Government Cloud Library” as an example. A questionnaire survey was conducted by “actual usage situation of elementary school students and the factors that affect the continuous usage intention in the cloud library questionnaire" which was summarized by the related literatures. A non-random sampling method of purposive sampling was adopted and a total of 338 valid samples was collected from the elementary school student in New Taipei City, which had used the New Taipei City Cloud Library. The questionnaires were analyzed by using the SPSS statistical software, including reliability analysis, descriptive statistics, independent t test, one-way ANOVA and multiple regression analysis. The results of the study showed that there are not enough opportunities for elementary school students to use cloud library in New Taipei City, but the continuous usage intention is between ordinary and satisfied. In the aspect of variance analysis between the background information of elementary school students and the continuous usage intention in cloud library, there is a significant difference in the gender of the students among which girls are significantly better than boys; while there is a significant difference in the grade of elementary school students among which the fourth grade are significantly higher than the fifth and sixth grade. As for the factors that affect the continuous usage intention of the cloud library, including user satisfaction, subjective norms, resource assistance and perceived enjoyment present a significant positive influence on the continuous usage intention, in which the key factor is perceived enjoyment, user satisfaction is the secondary factor; in addition, user experience and Internet self-efficacy is not significant.
