Description
Summary:碩士 === 中華大學 === 電機工程學系 === 105 === In this thesis, designer surface plasmon polaritons in a novel subwavelength periodic bilateral ellipse-metal diaphragm metasurface are numerically and experimentally studied. It is found that the transmission frequency range of surface wave in the metasurface can be broadened due to the absence of the photonic bandgap between the fundamental band and the second guiding band by tuning the geometric parameters. In addition, the dispersion curve of the second band can enter into the radiation region, leading to a frequency-based beam steering radiation. We also find that, below the light line, there exists an anomalous linear dispersion such that the guiding mode propagation length can be extended up to around. Consistent has been achieved between experimental and theoretical results. Key words: surface plasma polaron, leaky wave mode, radiation efficiency
