碩士 === 正修科技大學 === 化妝品與時尚彩妝研究所 === 105 === According to long-term observation in makeup fashion, applicability and extensiveness of makeup fashion are not usually accepted by artists. There are different views between two fields. Makeup fashion is an ex-pression of art of living, street art, and social psychology, actually it could be an Art. Mask is frequently one item in fashion competition. Laces, rib-bons, sequins, beads, and feathers are common materials used for compe-tition, however very little artistic aesthetics is applied. The purpose of this study is to combined theories of Beauty derived from Chinese painting and Western painting, and then artistic aesthetics in “mask artwork” were created based on different schools and doctrines. Many composite materials are applied in the process of mask creation as well as digital mask constructed by Photoshop® drawing software. With diversified characteristic of composite materials, this study highlights the difference between fashion makeup and traditional mask. Moreover, ex-citing artistic masks are created. Finally, the results of this study bring ar-tistic value to those people who are professional in fashion makeup.
