Description
Summary:碩士 === 中原大學 === 教育研究所 === 105 === This study applied the content analysis approach to explore the prize winning works of elementary groups for 42-56 Physical Reports of National Science Fair. There were 74 reports as research samples. The analysis focused on exploration content, the equipment used, physics concepts used, physics topics included, changing trends in research categories, and the relationship between the prize winning works of Science Fair and textbook topics. For data analysis, line charts and pie charts were employed to demonstrate the differences. The conclusions of this research were presented below: 1. 50 works (68%) of National Science Fair are classified as “applied science” as the exploration method. 2. The works of Physical reports of National Science Fair adopt more creative “self-designing experimental equipment” and pay more attention on the processes of the experiments. 3. The distribution of the prize winning works shows area differences. 4. Mechanics are the most concept that is studied; and most of them only include single concept. 5. The environmental protection topic is a new topic that recently conducted more. 6. There were correlations and sequences between the content of the works and the textbooks topics. Finally, the researcher proposed further suggestions for teachers and future researches as reference.
