To facilitate users’ real-time interactive communication and discussions by watching multimedia videos synchronously on social networks, this thesis constructed multimedia network environment on the IP Multimedia System (IMS) and used the mechanism of Inter-Destination Multimedia Synchronization (IDMS) to ensure that each single person and other learners watch multimedia streaming videos and communicate one another simultaneously.
