And to explore thedifferences of background variables between leisure obstacles and leisure participation on junior high school students. This study based on questionnaires, and the research objects were selected from the students of Guang Jheng Junior High School in Taichung city. And the Research tools is "The questionnaire of junior high school students’ leisure obstacles and leisure participation". We carried out the following statistical methods: frequency distribution, independent t-test, and one-way ANOVA. The findings of this study are as follows: 1. The participation of leisure activities on junior high school students is biased toward to the ability to provide physical and mental relaxation, and to increase happy feeling , such as static and recreational activities. 2. The primary obstacle is "the factor of structural obstacle", and "the factor of personal internal obstacle" is the secondary obstacle on the category of leisure obstacles. 3. The variable of personal factors in gender have significant differences in leisure participation, but there were no significant differences in Leisure obstacles. 4. The variable of personal factors in grader have significant differences in "physical fitness type" and "artist type" of leisure participation, and also have significant differences on "the factor of structural obstacle" of leisure obstacles. 5. The variable of personal factors inFamily status have no significant differences in leisure obstacles. Finally, we proposed several constructive suggestions for planning leisure activities or association to junior high school students in the future.
