Summary:碩士 === 大葉大學 === 運動健康管理學系 === 105 === The main purpose of this study is to understand teachers’ emotional labor and job satisfaction of junior high school teachers in Taichung City and investigate the differences on emotional labor and job satisfaction with various personal background variables. Furthermore, to analyze the influences of emotional labor on job satisfaction; and the public junior high school teachers in Taichung City were the subjects. By stratified random sampling, the data are collected with the total number of 580 valid questionnaires and conducted analyses including descriptive statistics, SEM, one-way ANOVA, and independent-samples t test. The conclusions of this study are the following: (1) The junior high school teachers’ emotional labor and job satisfaction in Taichung City were above average. (2) Emotional labor and job satisfaction were tested significantly different by various teaching experiences, positions, and school sizes. (3) The emotional labor of the public junior high school teachers in Taichung City has significantly positive influences on the job satisfaction. In the end, based on the findings, advices for the educational authorities, junior high schools and follow–up researchers were provided.
