Summary: | 碩士 === 大葉大學 === 機械與自動化工程學系 === 105 === In this thesis, the analysis and design of an automated production system is proposed for workpiece detection and assembly. This system consists of a personal computer, a Mitsubishi FX3U-64M PLC, an Schneider GXO5502 man-machine interface, a servo motor drive module, a pneumatic automatic arm and a solenoid valve module. Firstly, PLC program is designed for the automatic process to achieve automatic loading and unloading, testing, positioning, assembly and classification and so on, by GX Developer software platform. Then, human-machine interface (HMI) program is written to replace the traditional key operation interface with Vijeo Designer software platform. This HMI lets the user to operate the machine through the touch screen, graphically and intuitively. In addition, PLC and PC communication program with the RS232 port is designed based on the Visual Basic software platform. A database system is designed to monitor, alert and create data reports of the automatic process. Finally, the proposed method is validated by the actual workpiece inspection and assembly experiment.
