Volunteer firefighters is a volunteer service personnel, they sacrifice their time and energy, dedicated dedication and unrequited spirit, it is the best partner of firefighters and is the very important force to ensure social security, Lu Xinyu (2011) showed that when employees are satisfied with the work, the performance will be more outstanding. Volunteer firefighters have a close relationship with fire units ,with the help of volunteer firefighters can temporarily solve the manpower shortage of fire units, disaster rescue mission can be successfully completed. This research discussion the relevant literature to explore volunteer firefighter job satisfaction, the collected questionnaires data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t test, one way ANOVA by SPSS18.0.The findings of this study are as follows: Volunteer firefighters job satisfaction status belongs a medium level. Career as a commercial, college educated, 16-20 years of service, Childless volunteer firefighters have higher job satisfaction. There are no significant differences in the job satisfaction of volunteer firefighters different ages and marital status. Finally, this research can be concluded to provide some suggestions to the Fire Department and follow-up researchers.
