However, the force of cable is not easily accessible, therefore, many formulas were derived to find its force. This essay has selected two methods to analyze, utilizing the data from the measurement of the cable-stayed bridge of Gaoping River. The first method is a traditional prestressing formula, including the formula of String theory, beat frequency and actuarial. The second method, please refer to reference [2]. This essay utilized the measurement data of cable-stayed bridge of Gaoping River, then compare them from the results. In the actuarial formula, the EI value is critical, however, in the engineering practice, the determination of EI value is not always accurate and the source of information is not easy to obtain. Therefore, a study (please refer to reference [2]) was found, emphasizing the tension of cable could be estimated in the limited condition with certain accuracy. Thus, the measurement results of Gaoping River were used to discuss the differences between each formula. Since in the analysis and measurement instance of the bridge cable tension, the replacement formula of double-modal frequency indicated that the EI value does not affect much of its formula, thus in the unknown situation, the certain accuracy could still be obtained. As the result, this essay attempted to modify the EI value of some formula, which used the EI value, to observe the influence of EI value to each formula.
