Summary:碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 航太與系統工程學系 === 106 === In recent years, the growing consumer demand for clean energy systems such as solar wind turbines and solar panels leads to the rapid advance of renewable energy technologies. This also turns out the dramatic improvement of appearance and efficiency of the wind turbine system. Meanwhile, the broad usage of Computer-Aided-Design (CAD) software shortens the design time and improves the design quality. To meet the market needs, CAD can be viewed as an efficient tool to enhance the product development. This thesis aims to investigate the mechanical characteristics of the vertical axis wind turbine (VAWT) system by changing various parameters such as the wind speed, RPM of the rotor and angle of attack of the rotor blade, etc. The SolidWorks software is employed to construct the 3D model of the VAWT system. Subsequently, the model is imported into ANSYS CFX software to perform the dynamic simulation on the rotor blade of VAWT system. Finally, the optimal angle of attack of the rotor blade is determined through the curve fitting and derivative-based optimization technique. 【Keyword】:Vertical Axis Wind Turbine, Lift Type, VAWT, Flow Simulation, CAE
