Summary:碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 公共政策研究所 === 105 === The study is based on the application of Readers’ Theater on sixth-graders’English teaching with action research. The subjects are the 21 students in the elementary school of Taichung. The researcher uses the Hess Give me five 8 as the teaching material, using the Readers’ Theater to teach. Using the teaching to realize how to apply the course with Readers’ Theater and how students’ learning situation. Based on the Readers’ Theater’s spirit, the length of the couse is 16 weeks, 32 classes. During the action research, the researcher will gather all the materials to understand how students learn and to fix the course arrangement. Also, the researcher will use the materials to compare with each other in order to lit up the validity of the study. The researcher concludes all the followings: 1.When using the Readers’ Theater on elementary sixth grade’s English course, you should choose the material with educational and interesting issue. Teacher should show the students how to act and students will know more. 2. Students should be divided into groups with different ability or the same ability. Teacher needs to lead students to learn and students will improve their oral ability. Final, researcher gives some suggestions to the future study.
