Description
Summary:碩士 === 遠東科技大學 === 機械工程研究所 === 105 === The alumina material used in this research is recycled from waste aluminum electrolyte liquid by chemical precipitation method to obtain boehmite, and them extract high purity γ-Al2O3 and α-Al2O3 micro powder my different temperature treatment as initial reaction material. In the research, AIN powder is synthetized by carbothermal reduction and nitridation, and how the two different sources of aluminum affect the synthesis. The result shows that when the reacting temperature is higher than 1,550℃ for over 5 hours, single and uniform particle size aluminum nitride powders (AIN) with oxygen content less than 2wt% can be obtained; such AIN complies with industrial specification. The feature of AIN powders synthesized by different starting materials is different. The AIN synthesized by γ-Al2O3 as starting material has lower reacting temperature than α-Al2O3; the particle size of the former (307-582 nm) is finer than later (310-670 nm). The AIN synthesized by carbothermal reduction and nitridation is formed by burning high temperature graphite furnace at 1,830℃ for two hours to obtain fine AIN ceramic body (density 3.332 g/cm3) and the thermal conductivity is 160.2 W/mK.
