The implementation of two-day weekend increases lots of leisure time. Appropriate leisure sports can not only increase physical-mental health, but also improve life satisfaction. Many people lack recreation and exercise because of work or studying hard, leading to stress and tension in life. Under the influence of declining birth rate, parents demand a lot from their children. To improve people's participation in leisure sports and life satisfaction, it’s necessary to cultivate good habits of exercise in elementary schools. This study aims to investigate the relationship among children's leisure sport participation, leisure sport constraints and life satisfaction. Data were collected from questionnaire and were processed through descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, regression analysis, and other statistical methods, to understand whether there were significant differences among leisure sport participation, leisure sport constraints and life satisfaction of high graders in elementary school and their relationship. Results show that: (1) the participation of leisure sports have a significant influence on the life satisfaction of high graders in elementary school, (2) leisure sport constraints have a significant influence on the participation of leisure sports of high graders in elementary school, (3) leisure sport constraints have a significant influence on the life satisfaction of high graders in elementary school, (4) while leisure sports constraints acted as interference variable, no sufficient evidence shows that the participation of leisure sports have a significant influence on the life satisfaction of high graders in elementary school. The results can be provided as educational reference for school administrators, teachers and parents.
