The subjects of this study were 54 students from two classes of eighth graders at one junior high school in I-lan County. One class was designated as the experimental group taught with electronic storybook instruction. The other class was designated as the control group taught with normal English curriculum. Both groups were taught by the same teacher, the researcher. The experimental period lasted for 12 weeks, including the pre-test in the first week and the post-test after the experiment in this study. There were three instruments used in the study: ten units of electronic storybooks, listening comprehension test (Revised English Listening Test of Comprehensive Assessment Program for Junior High School Students), the questionnaire on students’ attitudes toward electronic storybook teaching, The collected quantitative data were analyzed by the SPSS, which included descriptive statistics, and frequency percentages as well as inferential statistic t-test in order to identify significant findings and evaluate the students' attitudes toward English electronic storybook instruction. According to the results of the present study, the eighth-grade students who received English electronic storybook instruction performed better on English listening comprehension as compared to the control group. Moreover, the results of the attitude questionnaire indicated that students in the experiment group held positive attitudes in English learning toward English electronic storybook instruction. In the end, the limitations of the study and suggestions for further studies were discussed. YANG,JUI-MING LIN,YANN-JUW 楊瑞明 林晏如 2017 學位論文 ; thesis 115 zh-TW
