Description
Summary:碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 金融與國際企業學系金融碩士在職專班 === 105 === This dissertation focuses on studying the current dilemma that Taiwanese small and private Long-term care (LTC) institutions face, which restrains their scale expansion. By virtue of foreign experiences, the study examines some possible models used by such LTC institutions, seeks for better solutions in compliance with regulations, and even provides suggestions for future developments. As a result, this dissertation finds out some critical factors in scale expansion of Taiwanese small and private LTC institutions, including the adoption of innovative financing models, location advantage and the economy, as well as the design of expansion system and cultivation of talents. In addition, the dissertation provides three suggestions for future development of LTC institutions especially when facing the irreversible trend of aging population. First of all, the government shall amend relevant laws, eliminate obstacles to private participation, and encourage operation. Second, we shall develop LTC market toward industrialization. Finally, we shall not only richly cultivate Taiwan but also reach out for the LTC markets in China.
