碩士 === 國立金門大學 === 管理學院創新事業與島嶼經營碩士班 === 105 === This research aims to provide an evaluation on developing MICE in Kinmen by examining the previous literature on MICE industry and integrating the opinions from the authorities of government, business, and academic sections. Based on a thorough literature research and in-depth interviews, this study will not only explore the internal and external conditions in developing MICE industry in Kinmen, but also provide practical suggestions, perspective directions, and strategies to Kinmen Governments for future developments to establishing MICE industry. The MICE is a set of economic activities linking similar or related business sections via conferences, exhibitions, marketing activities, etc. with the characteristics of economies-scale, relevance, technology-advancement, and internationalization. The international MICEs and exhibitions in Kinmen are expected to accelerate the regional developments, promote the reputation of Kinmen, bring massive tourism income and job opportunities, and eventually boost the economic development rapidly.
