In this study, we proposed a model for remedial learning in Calculus course. The experimental group was selected after midterm, with extra prior knowledge implemented two-hour per week till final examination. The learning effect was examined and a questionnaire survey was conducted to find out whether students participated in the remedial teaching make the differences in their performance, and discover the crucial factor as lost concept that could affect the students' learning outcomes that teachers refer to enhance their learning outcomes and encourage students to learn. *author **advisor Keywords : remedial instruction , implementation effect, Calculus
