Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 電子工程系 === 105 === Atmospheric particulate matter outdoor detection systems, which require huge cost of maintenance involving human and supplies, are clumsy and expensive. Other indoor detection systems combined with air clean equipment are not precise because they are limited to only detecting air around the device. Our research is to develop a small-size and low-cost sensing system based on optics to monitor the indoor fine particle. The system’s distinguishing characteristic is commitment to easier assembly and lower cost. As a result, we can set up the facility in every corner of houses to link smart electrical appliances. Moreover, with connecting to both mobile apps and cloud databases, the system can “anytime and anywhere” notify users of the state of air quality. To understand how such environmental factors as temperature, humidity increases and wind speed are affecting the concentration of fine particulate matter, we modal a closed-space box to only manipulate one factor and isolate the others. The results can be reasonably explained that once temperature, humidity, and wind speed increase, the concentration of fine particulate matter declines rapidly. Meanwhile, with excising these experiments, the accuracy and the robustness of our system are demonstrated.
