The chaotic phenomena are analyzed by using numerical methods such as phase diagram, bifurcation diagram, Lyapunov exponent and power spectrum. Firstly, the system circuit is implemented on the circuit board. An adaptive and an adaptive sliding mode controllers are then developed for unified drive and response hyperchaotic systems with unknown system parameters, different initial values, and external disturbance problems to achieve the synchronization control goal. In this thesis, the stability of the controlled chaotic system is proved by Lyapunov stability theorem. Finally, we use MATLAB, LabVIEW and NI DAQ capture card to construct the chaotic system and to give the experimental results. From the experimental results, it is shown that the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed control methods can achieve the synchronization control performance very well.
