However, in recent years, many car accidents occurred and caused serious casualties, the situation not only hit the image of Taiwan's tourism, also bring about a review of tour bus drivers’ working environment. Therefore, one of the key to tourism safety is the tour bus driver. In order to avoid the driver's personality traits affecting their working performance, and their job stress and job burnout affecting them to reduce the perception and response to the environment, even affecting traffic safety, this study is to explore the tour bus driver's personality traits, job stress and job burnout. The results might be a reference to tour bus operators for the management. In this study, questionnaire survey was conducted, and a total of 342 valid questionnaires were obtained from the bus parking lot and the hotel parking lot at each tourist attraction. The effective recovery rate was 97.7%. According to the independent sample t test, single factor analysis and multiple regression analysis, the results show that: (1) Tour bus drivers’different background in personality traits, job stress and job burnout are significantly different. (2) Different personality traits on job burnout and job stress has a significant impact. (3) Job stress has a positive impact on job burnout. Besides, the results suggest tour bus operators: (1) to enhance the driver welfare and promotion to enhance the work of enthusiasm. (2) to establish the education and training system to reduce job burnout. (3) to choose the right people to form a good organizational atmosphere.
