Differences in the healthy lifestyle and QOL of seniors with different demographic variables were compared; the correlation between healthy lifestyle and QOL was explored; and the predictive power healthy lifestyle for the learning needs was further established. This study employs the questionnaire survey method, and the subjects in this study are seniors aged 55 (inclusive) or older in a certain community in Sanmin District of Kaohsiung. A random sampling method was utilized and a total of 210 valid samples were obtained. Research tools include structured questionnaires covering Personal Basic Information,Healthy Lifestyle Scale, and QOL Learning Needs Scale. The obtained information was analyzed through descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and ca-nonical analysis. The conclusions are summarized as follows: 1. The seniors’healthy lifestyle quality and learning needs are in the mid-upper level. 2. In the various sub-scales in the Healthy Lifestyle Scale, the highest score was found in “nu-trition” and the lowest in “exercise”. The seniors’healthy lifestyle differs significantly with different demographic factors such as gender, age, education level, work status, marital status, living condition, and economic condition. 3. In the various learning need sub-scales, the highest score was found in “safety of life” and the lowest in “exercise and health.” Learning needs differ significantly with different de-mographic factors such as gender, age, education level, work status, marital status, living condition, and economic condition. 4. Healthy lifestyle and QOL learning needs have a significant canonicalcorrelation.
