碩士 === 高苑科技大學 === 資訊科技應用研究所 === 105 === After the typhoon disaster in Morakake in 2009, the community has been stabilized under the government and private community reconstruction and development. However, the community reconstruction is not only a hardware facility, but also needs to understand the inner feelings of the residents Happiness. The happiness and inner feeling of residents’ also should be drawn an attention. It was found that many psychology issues such as personal adaptive traits and life stress will influence the degree of happiness. This study will do a survey to investigate if personal adaptive trait and life stress influence happiness of residents in Shanlin Dai Ai community. There are 171 residents' responses were collected by the design questionnaire. The study results show as follows: 1.The residents' life stress score is on acceptance level. 2.Most of residents have higher score on the scale of agreeableness and conscientiousness. 3.Most of residents have decent score on happiness scale. 4.Life stress, emotional stability, openness and agreeableness are these factors will influence happiness significantly. 5.Residents’ age level show significant different score on extraversion, agreeableness and happiness. To increase their happiness, the suggestions of the study are given as follows: 1.Improve the quality of life to relieve physical and mental stress. 2.Considering to provide/offer some activities with creativity and diversity. 3.Strengthen resident’s mutual help and friendship will help their happiness of daily life .
