碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 資訊工程學系碩士班 === 105 === Word Segmentation is a base of Chinese Text Mining, which can be used as an effective data analysis or data application. Currently, the main problems of Word Segmentation are the identification of proper nouns and unknown words, and the maintenance of word dictionaries. In recent years, scientific and technology have processed, and internet everywhere, such that there are a large number of different kinds of the articles in the web. It is more and more difficult to correctly segment the words for text mining. The purpose of the extraction of gifts terms from Facebook posts is to identify the gifts in the articles, which can be used in business model with Facebook and marketing activities. The difference between identification with the gifts and the general proper nouns is that the gift words are usually with long term and not often mentioned, but they are important vocabularies. In this study, we propose a new method for identifying gifts talked in the Facebook.
