Summary:碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 教育研究所碩士在職專班 === 105 === The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between teaching styles and teaching effectiveness of public preschool teachers in Taipei city. Research contents are included the status quo and the model of teaching styles and teaching effectiveness for preschool teachers in Taipei city, and the differences between the two above factors and teachers’ backgrounds. This study has conducted literature reviews and questionnaire survey, and the population are public preschool teachers in Taipei city. There are 320 returned valid samples out of 350 sent out samples (91% returned rate). Furthermore, the collected data were statistically analyzed by descriptives, 1-Way MANOVA, confirmatory factor analysis, structural equation modeling and SmartPLS. Results of the study summarized as follows: (1) the status of teaching styles and teaching effectiveness of public preschool teachers in Taipei city were good; (2) there were significant differences among teachers with different background in teaching styles and teaching effectiveness; (3) the model showed that teaching styles had strongly significant positive influence on teaching effectiveness. This study finally proposed conclusions and solid suggestions as references for educational administrators, public preschool teachers, and future research based on the results.
