Description
Summary:碩士 === 美和科技大學 === 企業管理系經營管理碩士班 === 105 === One of the main aspects of Human Resource Management is the measurement of employee satisfaction. Companies have to make sure that employee satisfaction is high among the workers, which is a precondition for increasing productivity, responsiveness, quality, and customer satisfaction. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the level of employee satisfaction in Asia International Pharmacy Joint Stock Company. Base on the previous theories about job satisfaction, dimensions of job satisfaction, the research model and a questionnaire are built which include eight factors that can affecting employees’ satisfaction. Based on the research, the level of employee satisfaction about some motivation factors in Asia International Pharmacy Joint Stock Company is relatively high as their mean in the range of 3.37 – 4.06 although there is still a room for improvements. In detail, employee in AIP most satisfy with the way company design job and least satisfy with the fairness situation in the system. The regression analysis proves that with the model of eight independent variables and there are strong correlations between pair of these variables, we cannot get accurate result. A new model that has only five independent variables which are job characteristic, payment, supervisor relationship, job promotion and working condition is analyzed and tested. The second model shows the positive relationship existing among job satisfaction and three dimensions which get positive standardized beta. The regression analysis also points out that supervisor relationship and work condition have negative relation with job satisfaction but the significant level is not high enough (p-value = 0.474) or there is some problem with the sample as many of respondent are support staff or sales person. However, the dimension which has the highest level of satisfaction among AIP’ employee (Job characteristic) is not the factor that has the highest effect to employee satisfaction (job promotion). The author also suggests some recommendations for AIP to improve the level of employees satisfaction based on the research result and analysis.
