Description
Summary:碩士 === 明新科技大學 === 土木工程與環境資源管理系碩士班 === 105 === Taiwan is located in the active Pacific seismic belt, with frequent natural disasters caused by heavy rains over the typhoon seasons. Current water and soil conservation and slope stabilization technology have become one of the key to people's life and property security in the densely populated area and vulnerable areas of geology. Safety assessment of retaining facilities through regular level measurement and coordinate measuring, one can monitor the vertical subsidence and horizontal displacement of a retaining wall. The quantitative evaluation method is a reliable reference of safety. This research implements measurement technology to monitor the retaining facilities at the Minghsin University of Science and Technology campus. After cumulative observation on the benchmark points of elevation and the coordinates, bookkeeping records on the maximum vertical changes and displacement, a safety index of a retaining wall based on the local standard specification was proposed. In addition, this study compared different monitoring methods, recommending future monitoring of slope stability method for future practices.
