Therefore, multi-band slot antenna with asymmetric ground plane and rhombus patch radiator, dual-band slot antenna with asymmetric ground plane and rhombus patch radiator and ultra-wideband slot antenna with asymmetric ground plane and polygon patch radiator are designed and implemented. The sizes of asymmetric ground plane and stub in the feeding structure are changed to obtain the suitable size parameters of the slot antenna and fabricate the proposed multi-band slot antenna. With reducing the size of slot antenna and following previous process, dual-band slot antenna is also presented in this study. Changing the sizes of polygon patch radiator and asymmetric ground plane, the better size parameters are achieved that can be used to implement the ultra-wideband slot antenna. The glass fiber (FR4) substrate and IE3D simulation software are used to design the proposed antenna. Multi-band slot antenna that can operate at 1.575/1.8/2.4/2.45/4.9/5/5.2/5.8/5.9 GHz frequencies, dual-band slot antenna that can operate at 1.575/1.8/2.4/2.45/4.9/5/5.2/5.8/5.9 GHz frequencies and ultra-wideband slot antenna that can operate at 1.2~5.9GHz are designed and fabricated in this thesis.
