This paper proposed a non-contact measuring depth method.Firstly, proposed a linear laser beam for measuring tread depth. However, there is a matching problem by the linear laser beam angle deviation. Therefore, a technique to overcome the weakness of the linear laser beam is proposed, which is based on light-spot analysis.
