In this study, the survey of the base line information and energy benchmarking data can be proposed and assessed comprehensively based on field-testing and on-site web-based monitoring data. To investigate the interaction of energy consumption between energy consumption of air conditioners and cold store equipments, energy consumption has been investigated through field measurement data. Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation for temperature profile and airflow velocity distribution have been implemented to optimize the layout of cold store equipment in the convenient store and the minimization of energy consumption can be obtained accordingly. Besides, through the developed internet sensing control system the environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity and CO2 concentration could be recorded extensively. Both energy saving and environmental control could be obtained by optimal calculating. The optimal operation condition and energy-saving effects can be derived accordingly.
